In the lower transept of the Santa Cruz Museum You can enjoy this exhibition integrated by almost 300 pieces where you can admire paintings of El Greco, Carducho, Tristán or Ribera, and splendid textiles such as the historical banners of Cardinal Mendoza and the Holy Brotherhood.
It is divided into four sections. One with pieces from the 15th century that shows the origin of the House of Austria with the union of the Catholic Monarchs. Two others with rooms dedicated to Charles V and Felipe II. And another showing the decline of the crown.
And all this in a building as important and interesting to see as is the old Hospital of Santa Cruz.
