Just 25 kilometers from Camping el Greco we can visit this castle excellently preserved, and of which stands out its stone engraving of a rampant lion on the so-known as Torre del Homenaje. This is the heraldic shield of the Silvas, countess of Cifuentes, who built the castle in the fifteenth century.

Its structure suggests that its construction was made thinking more of residential than defensive use, and highlights its large patio.

Although the castle is privately owned, access to its interior is free. To get to it we enter the population of the same name, and once we pass the cemetery we will reach through a forest track of a pine forest.
